Hodge Bassoon Swab

The Hodge bassoon silk swab is a silk bassoon swab that fits through both the boot and wing joints. Silk swabs are preferred over non-microfiber cloth swabs for wood instruments because silk leaves virtually no material behind and are less abrasive to the bore of the instrument. If playing on a wood bassoon, Hodge is an excellent choice for a healthy swab. The beads on the end of the swab ensure easy cleaning through the boot, and the sturdy string prevents the swab from disconnecting from the anchor during cleaning.
