Studies for Violin Fasc. I: I-III Positions

Violin Études: from beginner level to Kreutzer’s Studies is a carefully put together anthology of authors’ studies designed to create a step-by-step but rapid path for young violinists that should allow them to successfully tackle both intermediate and advanced studies, leaving them well-prepared and with the “equipment” necessary to confront various aspects of technique and performance practice. The consultation of original sources, and editorial and graphic criteria that make it easy to distinguish the editor’s additions from the original indications are a definite plus here, especially in light of the current emphasis on historically informed performance practice.
